Ministries

There's a place for everyone.

Whatever your age or stage, there's a corner of Anchor Point built for you. Find yours.

What each one actually is.

Who it's for, when it meets, and who to talk to. If something here is unclear, ask. Nobody expects you to figure it out on your own.

Community Groups

Everyone

Brent Amato, Community Groups DirectorBrent Amato, Community Groups Director

Most groups are made up of 8 to 12 men and women who meet weekly for fellowship and connection, Biblically-based discussion, and a focused time of prayer. As the church grows larger, this is how we grow smaller.

Helen Gruett, Lead TeacherHelen Gruett, Lead Teacher

We want every child to know, to love, and to encounter the power of Jesus through worship and God's Word. Kids dig into real Bible teaching and learn to apply it, in an environment built to be fun, loving, and safe.

Anchor Students exists to bring about real transformation in students' lives. We build experiences that unite students, ignite a passion for Christ, and hand them the skills to make disciples of their own.

A place for every man in this church to connect to God, to His Word, and to other men. Most of it happens over breakfast and honest conversation rather than in a program.

Prayer

Anyone who needs it

Prayer gives us space to praise God for what He has done. It opens a door of hope for those who are losing hope, room to learn compassion for those who are hurting, and it sustains us when we are tired. We pray over every request we receive.

Outreach

Carol Stream and beyond

The work we do outside these walls, starting with the fall backpack drive for kids in the community.

Community groups

Faith grows smaller before it grows deeper.

As the church grows larger, we grow smaller, gathering in homes across Carol Stream in groups of 8 to 12. It's where the sermon becomes a conversation, where prayer gets specific, and where you stop being a face in the crowd.
